fishing report for may 2nd 2009
the morning started out just a little breeze but not to hard from the WSW. we hit the flats in santa rosa sound armed with chugbugs and DOA’s. it did not take long and we were putting fish in the boat.
allen with a nice bluefish…

sandy and aleen with several eaters…

we ended the morning with a dozen nice specks and a mixed bag of forked tail fish.
noon time found the wind breezy out of the south so we found some patchy grass beds and hoped for the best.
our second drift produced this nice 4lb fish…

the next drift produce a 3.5lb speck…

wind never stopped but we managed a few more specks and a couple of spanish.
it was a great saturday to be on the water.
tight lines and great fishing adventures!
